Education of the heart

Education of the Heart encompasses what has not been taught in mainstream education. It teaches all to listen to their heart and soul's true calling, to live, breath, and act from the wisdom of the heart, while the mind is the crucial servant of this wisdom, creating a balanced relationship within that allows for life to flourish. The heart is the dwelling place of spirit, where love is the rule above all else. The heart is the first organ in the unborn child that forms and begins to function, all else follows the leadership of this tiny pulse in it’s outward expression and expansion of life.

Schools, educational philosophies, and their underlying theories are constantly changing depending on the social, economic, and political climate. For centuries, education has put it's primary focus on teaching and training the mind, negating the wisdom of the heart. Now, there is an urgency and need for global citizenship that calls us into a coherence of heart-united teaching and learning. This philosophy views the world as one interconnected biosphere, teaching all to coexist and live responsibly by building relationships guided by the heart. Education of the Heart is a new movement and a global education initiative instilling love, healing, creativity, altruism, and tolerance through the teachings of compassion, unconditional love, and the universal truths of humankind.
